With 30 years experience in the gaming industry and hospitality industry, I am viewed as a humanistic leader who places a high value on employee input and teamwork.
I began my career as a craps dealer as part of the opening team with Harrahs Marina Hotel Casino in 1980 then transferred to Harrahs at Trump Plaza in 1984. While at Trump Plaza, I assisted with the development and implementation of a new player rating system as well as conducting several customer service training programs and anti-cheating classes for the newly promoted supervisory and management staff.
In 1990 I was recruited to join the opening team at Trump Taj Mahal as a Pit Manager and soon progressed to Casino Shift Manager. While overseeing the table game operation during my respective shift, I developed the ability to lead and inspire others to achieve their fullest potential.
In 2006 while working at Trump Taj Mahal, I transitioned into Hotel Operations and gained extensive experience as the Hotel Operations Manager. During this time, I was involved in an on-going Leadership Consortium where I further sharpened my leadership skills and continued to develop various skill sets including Hotel Management and Butler Management to compliment my existing skill sets of Casino Management, Staff Management, Conflict Management, Budgeting and Team Building.
I’m a member of Delta Mu Delta (The National Honor Society in Business Administration.) I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the Richard Stockton College of NJ and am due to graduate in May 2011 with a Master of Business Administration degree.
